This is a new full size concert ukulele with a bearclaw figured Sitka Spruce soundboard and a Claro Walnut body. With it’s 15” scale-length, a fairly deep body and the softwood soundboard this ukulele if full of complex tones and a healthy sustain. The smoother than silk Western Big Leaf Maple neck and small frets make it easy to play and attention to set-up and accurately made bone saddle and nut make The peg head shape and decoration is a nod to turn of the century banjo design.
The instrument’s depth is about 2 3/4” and its back is arched on both axis in a bowl shape to help project the sound. The overall length is about 24” and the instrument weighs in at a light 20 ozs.
The ukulele comes in a decent quality hardshell case and it will be shipped in a sturdy and re-useable specially designed shipping box.
