In the world of Steampunk, machines must not only be practical, they must be pieces of art. During the Victorian era, objects were not only meant to be impressive in function , but in form as well. Steampunk art celebrates a time when technology was produced, not by large corporations but by talented and independent artisans.
          Standard Steampunk Ukulele Number One: Standard size ukulele, crafted out of exotic Honduran rainforest Mahogany and bound with a sturdy iron outer-skeleton. All work reportedly executed at the infamous artisan studios of Pohaku.
          Subsequently cast adrift into the turbulent waters of the North Pacific its adventures were meticulously clocked by its integrated chronometer and and its voyage mapped by the on-board gyro compass until at long last it was ready to return to civilized society where it could thrive in a free marketplace.
