Ebony and Ivory Soprano
This is a recently completed Pohaku soprano ukulele with a Figured Honduran Mahogany body and neck topped with a ebony peghead veneer. The fingerboard & bridge are also out of the same jet black ebony.
Inlaid into the peghead is an ivory oval salvaged out of an old piano key. This I left plain & un-engraved and (for a fee) I can have anything that you fancy engraved onto this surface, or, you can leave it empty
The tuning machines are the lightweight and great looking 4:1 ratio Peghead brand tuners which match this ebony peghead beautifully.
The back of the instrument is rounded as all the different models in the Pohaku ukulele family are and except of course for the trim details the design of the instrument stays true to the early Martin pattern.
A smooth and excellent glossy finish protects the instrument.
Weight of the ukulele is approx; 13 ozs. and it’s overall length is about 21” Price with a case is $800.oo and shipping is extra.
