This is a new Pohaku Concert sized ukulele built with a Sitka Spruce soundboard and a beautiful and curly Western Big-Leaf Maple body and neck.
          The rope edge trim got carried away on this instrument, it behaved nicely surrounding the peghead but ran a little bit amuck as the roping came wrapping around the neck and down fingerboard to meet and surround the body. Whimsical, different and very well executed.
          This instrument plays bright and loud and with the low set up action, outstanding fretwork and easy to tune peg-head tuners it is very easy to play.
          A smooth-as-silk lacquer finish beautifies and protects the ukulele and it comes in a custom Pohaku hard-shell case.
          Overall the instrument is about 23 ½” long and weighs approx 17 ozs.
